We had a very poor turn out for today's Freshwater Tournament even though the weather was fairly good. I guess next year I'll go back to the last weekend in June when members can fish without a license which might draw more participants. Cliff Bennett fished with me and we saw Chuck Moffett fishing most of the morning. I caught a 2 lb 13 oz largemouth bass. –Bill Rockwell

We went to fish in Patchogue but it was the day of a boat race and we moved to Blue point dock. -Elizabeth Wasilewicz

Because groups went to different spots and there was no way to judge winners, all young fishermen got a prize. –Carl Dippel
