General
Tournament Guidelines
1. Minimum
Participants – All tournaments must have a minimum of five (5) members
indicating that they plan to participate by one (1) week prior to the start of
the tournament. Participants are to
inform the Outdoor Chairman by email, text message, or phone. Tournaments that do not have the minimum
number of club members indicating that they plan to participate by one (1) week
prior to the start time will be cancelled.
Cancellations will be emailed to club members and posted on the club’s
website.
2.
Tournament Cancellations – Cancellations due to
dangerous weather and sea conditions will be made Outdoor Chairman by 8:00 PM
on the night before the date of the tournament.

3.
Ties – In the event that two or more fish are tied for
a prize, the winner will be selected by a coin toss.
4.
Weigh Ins – To be considered for a tournament prize, a
weigh slip, signed by an employee of J&J must be submitted for all fish
weighed in at J&J. Prizes will not
be distributed until a properly filled in and signed weigh slip is received by
the club.
5. Prizes – In the event that a fish is not weighed in for a particular prize, the prize will be returned to the outdoor budget for future use.
