Saturday and Sundays Weigh Ins are to be held at 6:00 PM at Sunset Harbour in East Patchogue slip #12. Directions to the marina are available at http://www.sunsetharbourmarinany.com/contact/. At the marina entrance turn right (north), away from the restaurant, slip 12 is about ¾ of the way to the end of the marina. Look for a 25 ft Parker Sport Cabin with Outriggers.

 

Alternatively,  fish can be weighed in on Saturday at J&J in Patchogue.  Fish weighed in at J&J on Saturday must be reported to the Outdoor Chairman by 7:00 PM on Saturday via phone, text message, or email.  Fish not reported to the outdoor chairman by 7:00 PM on Saturday will be disqualified. The Tournament Weigh Board will be updated and posted on the club website and/or distributed by email by 8:00 PM each night.  J&J weigh in is for Saturday ONLY!  ALL Sunday weigh ins will be held at Sunset Harbour.

Notes:

1.       Fish weighed in on Friday or Saturday must be reported to the Outdoor Chairman by 7:00 PM via phone, text message, or email.  Fish note reported by 7:00 PM will be disqualified. The Tournament Weigh Board will be updated and posted on the club website and/or distributed by email by 8:00 PM each night.

General Tournament Guidelines

1.       Minimum Participants – All tournaments must have a minimum of five (5) members indicating that they plan to participate by one (1) week prior to the start of the tournament.  Participants are to inform the Outdoor Chairman by email, text message, or phone.  Tournaments that do not have the minimum number of club members indicating that they plan to participate by one (1) week prior to the start time will be cancelled.  Cancellations will be emailed to club members and posted on the club’s website.

2.      Tournament Cancellations – Cancellations due to dangerous weather and sea conditions will be made Outdoor Chairman by 8:00 PM on the night before the date of the tournament.  Cancellations will be emailed to club members and posted on the club’s website.

3.      Ties – In the event that two or more fish are tied for a prize, the winner will be selected by a coin toss.

4.      Weigh Ins – To be considered for a tournament prize, a weigh slip, signed by an employee of J&J must be submitted for all fish weighed in at J&J.  Prizes will not be distributed until a properly filled in and signed weigh slip is received by the club.

5.      Prizes – In the event that a fish is not weighed in for a particular prize, the prize will be returned to the outdoor budget for future use.
